I recently attended an orthodontic consultation for my daughter with Dr. Akash Patel at Central California Children’s Dentistry & Orthodontics, and unfortunately, the experience that followed has been confusing and disappointing. Shortly after the appointment, I received a call from the office stating that Dr. Patel had decided they would no longer see my family for orthodontic care. I respectfully asked for clarification, as there had been no indication during our visit that anything was wrong. The office manager later followed up but was unable to provide any explanation for the decision. I was told they reviewed recorded phone calls and confirmed that I had not been rude or inappropriate. Most of the interaction during the consultation was between my daughter’s father and the doctor, which makes this situation even more unclear. I have made multiple attempts to understand what may have occurred, including offering to address or apologize for anything that may have caused discomfort, but no information has been provided. OK so…. I’ve been taking my kids here for quite some time now. The staff is amazing, the service is great, but….. the facility itself needs a makeover! Paint on the walls is coming off, base boards need attention, every pillar corner is chipped, there’s tape on the equipment holding it together! lol the care of the facility looks very neglected. Don’t know if this is an issue with the owner, but it could use some remodeling or a fresh new coat of paint. It’s starting to look a lil ghetto but like I said, the staff are doing great! It just needs some more love poured into it! Even the carpet looks old. Owner needs to invest in the staff and the clients!

My son and daughter both are special needs so they aren't the most cooperative patients all the time. I love bringing them here. The staff is always so kind and caring and patient with my kids. The dentist himself is great! And the dental assistants and front desk ladies are always friendly!. Not to mention, they are fast. Not that they rush but they're efficient with their time. Deannica and Wendy are 2 names that I can remember, those ladies are troopers! All the staff there is, really. In case you cant tell, I highly recommend this place to friends and family.

My child had her first root canal done and it was so exciting for me to see how comfortable she was having her procedure done today! I love this dentist! Thank you Dr and Staff!! We Appreciate you!!
